Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an air compressor?
Yes — the SFC3030 cuts with compressed air as its assist gas, so plan on a compressed-air line alongside its 220 V single-phase supply (voltage options are available — ask in your quote). It is air-cooled, so there is no chiller or water plumbing to install.
800W or 1200W — which tier should I quote?
The 800W tier cuts up to 2 mm stainless, 1.5 mm aluminum and 1 mm brass; the 1200W tier extends that to 3 mm stainless, 2.5 mm aluminum and 1.5 mm brass, with faster throughput in the same stock. If your material sits near the 800W limits, quote both tiers and tell us what you cut — the delta is worth comparing before you decide.
What changes on the 500 × 500 mm cutter?
The SFC5050 uses the same 1200W cutting specification as the 300 × 300 mm SFC3030, but expands the working area to 500 × 500 mm and upgrades the motion system from stepper motors to servo motors. Its larger enclosure ships at approximately 1160 × 1000 × 1170 mm and 225 kg gross.
How does ordering and payment work?
The posted prices are preliminary U.S. DDP list prices, not online checkout offers. A U.S. request receives the current price sheet automatically; we still confirm the exact configuration, ship-to address, freight scope, lead time and order terms before payment. Orders outside the United States require a separate Reticle Red quote with manufacturer input. Lead time is about 20 working days plus shipping, and the machine carries a 1-year warranty with lifetime technical support.
