TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE

By accessing Reticle Red, you agree to these terms. This platform is a professional tool for laser operators. You certify that you are at least 18 years of age.

2. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

WARNING: Reticle Red provides generated parameters and designs for reference only. Laser engraving involves high-energy equipment that can cause fire, injury, or damage. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR FINAL VERIFICATION OF PARAMETERS. Reticle Red is not liable for damaged materials, equipment failure, or injury resulting from the use of this data.

3. CREDITS, SUBSCRIPTIONS & FAIR REFUND POLICY

"Credits" are a virtual currency used to process high-compute tasks (e.g., AI inference, 3D mapping) on our platform.

The Reticle Red Fair Refund Policy

• Subscriptions

If your subscription auto-renews and you forgot to cancel, we will issue a full refund for the most recent charge if you contact us within 14 days of the renewal date, provided that no credits from the new billing cycle have been used. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partially used subscription periods.

• One-Time Credit Packs

If you purchase a standalone credit pack by mistake, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the credits have remained completely unused. Due to the hard cloud-compute costs associated with AI generation, we cannot refund credit packs that have been partially or fully consumed.

• Failed Generations & System Errors

Our AI models demand high processing power and are occasionally subject to outages. If a system failure or verified bug causes a generation task to fail entirely but still deducts your credits, we will manually restore those lost credits to your account. Contact support with your session details.

Credits have no cash or monetary value outside of the Reticle Red platform.
For accounts created on or after July 24, 2026, the 12-credit welcome promotion expires 30 days after it is granted. Only the unused welcome portion expires. Purchased credits, subscription credits, referral and creator earnings, challenge or survey rewards, make-good credits, and credits restored after failed or cancelled jobs do not expire. Accounts created before this policy date are grandfathered.
We reserve the right to periodically adjust the credit cost for specific tools in response to fluctuating cloud GPU expenses.

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use generated content for illegal purposes, hate speech, or malicious fabrication. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found violating these protocols.

5. YOUR DESIGNS & AI OUTPUT

You keep your work. Designs, photos, and files you upload remain yours — we claim no ownership of them. For artwork generated by our AI tools from your prompts and inputs, we assign to you all of our right, title, and interest in that output, to the extent permitted by law: use it, sell it, and engrave it commercially with no attribution required. We do not use your private designs to train public models (see the Privacy Policy). Two honest caveats: purely AI-generated artwork may not be eligible for copyright protection in some jurisdictions, and because generative models can produce similar results from similar prompts, we cannot guarantee your output is unique.

6. COPYRIGHT & IP COMPLAINTS (DMCA)

We respect intellectual property rights and expect operators to do the same. If you believe content hosted on Reticle Red — including community archives, gallery posts, or marketplace files — infringes your copyright or trademark, email support@reticle-red.com with the subject "IP Complaint" and include: (1) identification of the protected work, (2) the URL or location of the allegedly infringing material, (3) your contact information, (4) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them, with your physical or electronic signature. We will review complaints promptly and remove or disable access to material we determine to be infringing. Users who repeatedly upload infringing content will have their accounts terminated. If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice with the same contact information and a statement, under penalty of perjury, explaining why the removal was erroneous.

7. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time as the platform evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and post a notice on the What’s New page; for significant changes affecting your rights, credits, or billing, we will also notify you by email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Reticle Red after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, stop using the platform and, if applicable, cancel your subscription from your profile.

8. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the platform will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
