What size should a laser-cut ornament be?
Most ornaments are 70 to 90 mm (about 3 to 3.5 inches) wide in 3 mm birch plywood or 1/8 inch basswood. Set the width in millimetres or inches; the file is drawn at that true size.
Can I put a photo on the ornament?
Yes. Pick the Pet photo frame or Photo bauble template and choose a photo. It is cropped to the round window and embedded in the SVG files. For a better engraving, prep the photo in Image Lab first.
Will it work with my xTool or LightBurn?
Yes. Download the LightBurn .lbrn2 with the layers preassigned, a standard SVG, or the xTool SVG, where strokes are cut or score and fills are engrave.
