True-interlocking jigsaw cut files from any image.

Generate laser-cut jigsaw puzzles in any size and piece count. The pieces use single-line shared edges, so the laser never double-cuts a boundary and every tab-and-slot mates perfectly. Drop in a photo and it rides along as an engrave/print overlay on top of the cut grid.

Operating Steps

Step 1: (Optional) Upload an Image

Drag & drop a photo to print or engrave on the puzzle face. Toggle the overlay on/off to view just the cut lines. No image? You still get a clean blank-puzzle cut file.

Step 2: Pick a Piece Count

Choose a preset from 4 pc up to 70+ pc, or set custom columns × rows. Start around 20–30 pc for proofing; higher counts cut slower but feel more satisfying.

Step 3: Set the Physical Size

Enter the finished width and height in mm so the SVG cuts at true scale for your bed and material (wood, acrylic, MDF).

Step 4: Tune Tab Shape

Tab Size and Tab Roundness control how aggressively the pieces interlock. The seed reshuffles the random tab directions — reroll until you like the layout.

Step 5: Export

Download the cut-only SVG for the laser, or a combined/overlay PNG to preview or print the artwork.

Tactical Tip

For a photo puzzle, engrave or UV-print the image first with the overlay PNG as your reference, then cut with the SVG on the same registration — never move the workpiece between the two passes.

Before a production run

Save the source file before changing geometry or parameters, confirm the final physical dimensions, and inspect the smallest details at the intended output size. Use matching scrap to test focus, speed, power, frequency, and layer order. Record the settings that worked with the material and machine so the next job starts from a verified result.
