EZCAD Test Card Export (DXF + CSV) for Fiber & MOPA

Download a free EZCAD test card as DXF plus a per-pen parameter CSV. Built for fiber and MOPA galvo markers running EZCAD2 or EZCAD3. No account needed.

Capabilities & Feature Set

  • DXF geometry where every test cell sits on its own numbered pen layer, PEN_00 through PEN_29.
  • A companion CSV listing speed, power, frequency, pulse width, passes, interval and Z offset per pen.
  • A free sample test card download that needs no account, built by the same writer the MOPA Predictor ships.

What Operators Say

“I love this software!”
Patrick Hussey — Laser engraver · went from never touching the software to firing real burns in his first week
“This is the easiest I have seen.”
Chris Clark — Laser engraver · Vanguard pack customer · builds custom 1911 grips
“Reticle Red is becoming one of my favorite software to use. It has a lot of tools that many others do not, and approaches things differently to create more consistent results. A++”
Daniel Webster — Laser engraver · long-time power user
“Reticle Red definitely takes the guess work out of your design work with tutorials to walk through the process. I highly recommend it.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does EZCAD need a different file than LightBurn?

EZCAD2 and EZCAD3 do not read SVG or LightBurn .lbrn2 files. They read DXF for vector work. Reticle Red writes the DXF plus a parameter CSV, because EZCAD has no way to carry per-layer speed and power inside the DXF itself.

What do I do with the CSV?

It maps one row to one pen. Import the DXF, then set each pen in EZCAD's parameter panel to match its row — speed, power, frequency, pulse width, passes, interval and Z offset are all listed.

Does the sample download require an account?

No. The sample test card is free with no account and no credit card, and it is produced by the same exporter used inside the MOPA Predictor.

Which machines is this for?

Fiber and MOPA galvo markers running the stock EZCAD software — EZCAD2, or EZCAD3/LMC on newer boards. If your machine runs LightBurn instead, use the free LightBurn test grid generator.

Are the sample values safe to run in production?

No. They are deliberately broad starting points for a scrap test. Read the cell that looks right on your material, then use that row as your starting recipe and validate before a production run.
