Operating Steps
Step 1: Read the provenance badge
BUNDLED BASELINE is a bundled manufacturer or community-published sheet with no vouch record and no proof burn behind it — a starting point, not a tested recipe. VERIFIED means three independent operators vouched for a community sheet. Everything else reads UNVERIFIED. Nothing here is admin-verified.
Step 2: Filtering
Drill down by material category, Laser Source (Raycus vs JPT vs IPG), and Min Wattage (0W-200W+). Two independent provenance toggles — Community verified and Built-in baseline — sit beside the material chips; leave both off to see everything.
Step 3: Contributing
Use CONTRIBUTE to publish a recipe, and VOUCH on sheets you have burned yourself. Three independent vouches move a community sheet to VERIFIED and help every operator dial in faster.
Have a perfect recipe? Use CONTRIBUTE to share it, then ADD PHOTO to attach the actual burn — a picture of the real mark proves a sheet far better than any vouch count.
CORE PARAMETERS
- POWER / SPEED: The primary intensity and velocity of the beam.
- FREQUENCY (kHz): Number of pulses per second. High freq = smoother but shallower.
- LINE DISTANCE: The spacing between each consecutive scan line (mm).
- HATCH TYPE: The pattern or fill mode (e.g. Unidirectional, Ring, Cross-Hatch).

• Input your Source Wattage and Lens Area
• Select your Target Wattage and Lens Area
• The engine mathematically calculates the Speed, Power, and Freq adjustments necessary to match the original Fluence (Energy Density).
Before a production run
Save the source file before changing geometry or parameters, confirm the final physical dimensions, and inspect the smallest details at the intended output size. Use matching scrap to test focus, speed, power, frequency, and layer order. Record the settings that worked with the material and machine so the next job starts from a verified result.
