Modern & Graphic Engraving Styles
Modern graphic styles are what most commissioned work actually calls for: clean, confident shapes that read instantly on a product photo and do not fight a logo placed beside them. This family covers minimal line work, bold poster forms, halftone and gradient-adjacent treatments, and the contemporary abstract patterns that suit signage, packaging prototypes and gift work. They are also the safest family for unfamiliar material — large simple shapes tolerate a wider settings window than fine ornament, so a first test burn on an unknown substrate is far more likely to succeed.
Materials these styles are tuned for: glassware, leather, metal, tumblers, wood.

Using these styles
Open the Fabricator, load the outline of the part you are engraving, and choose a style from this family. The pattern is generated to fill your outline rather than pasted over it, so the result fits the part instead of being cropped to it. Run a test on matching scrap before committing a production piece — density that reads perfectly on coated metal can close up on open-grain wood, and the fix is usually speed or an extra pass rather than more power.
