Does xTool Aimake work with non-xTool lasers?
Its exports are standard formats, so files can run on other machines — but the product lives inside the xTool/Atomm ecosystem: the store, recommended settings, and refund conditions all point back to xTool hardware. Reticle Red has no hardware ecosystem to steer you toward.
Where can you see xTool Aimake’s prices?
Not on its own site. As of September 2026, atomm.com/pricing returns a 404 and there is no pricing link in the product’s navigation — per-image costs appear in a credits guide first published in 2024 and updated in September 2026, and in credit packs sold on the separate xTool store. Who owns the designs you make in each tool?
Reticle Red assigns AI-output ownership to you in writing. As of September 2026, Aimake/Atomm terms grant the platform a perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to works you create there, and unsatisfactory AI output is not refunded. Verify current terms on their site.
What does Reticle Red offer that xTool Aimake does not?

Atomm AI V3.7, announced September 21, 2026, added cut-ready vector extraction ("extract the outline, line art or structure as a cut-ready vector"), Pinterest import, and new Skills including a two-sided Challenge Coin designer filed under Print. Reticle Red's Coin Designer is built for laser and fiber output instead: coin artwork, 3D depth maps and machine-ready exports. Verify current xTool features on their site.
Production checks before you export from Reticle Red or xTool Aimake
Use the workflow on a representative sample before committing customer material. Confirm the finished dimensions, smallest line weight, layer assignments, focus, and machine parameters in the software that will run the job. A short test on matching scrap catches scale, contrast, kerf, and material-finish differences while they are still inexpensive to correct.
