Is my LightBurn file uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read locally in the page and never sent to us. The same is true of the finished-piece photo and depth map you attach.
Which settings can it read automatically?
Everything LightBurn stores on the layer: speed, max and min power, frequency, Q-pulse width, line interval, scan angle, pass count, bi-directional scanning and image mode. Line interval also gives you DPI without typing it.
Why are material, wattage and lens size not filled in?
Because a LightBurn project genuinely does not record them — they describe your machine and your stock, not the job. Those are the only fields you have to supply, and the page highlights them.
How can it estimate run time?
From the engraved area, line interval, speed, scan angle and pass count. For 3D slice work it also reads the depth map: a pixel of depth d burns on d/255 of the passes, so the mean depth is the duty cycle. Without that correction a pass-count estimate can be five times too high.
