Production Bridge - Settings-Aware LightBurn Export

Package SVG artwork with physical dimensions, named LightBurn operations, traceable machine settings, a recipe manifest, and a scrap-test card.

Capabilities & Feature Set

  • Compile path-based SVG artwork into a physically sized LightBurn project.
  • Load existing Machine Bay profiles and measured Calibration Passports.
  • Carry speed, power, passes, interval, frequency, and recipe provenance into the package.
  • Download the original source, JSON manifest, operator guide, and a 3x3 scrap-test card in one ZIP.

A production-first workflow

Production Bridge - Settings-Aware LightBurn Export is designed around the full laser job, not a disconnected preview. Start with the best available source artwork, set the real material and machine constraints, inspect small details at output size, and export the format your control software expects. Before using an expensive blank or finished part, verify dimensions, focus, layer assignments, and power settings on comparable scrap. Save the successful result with the job notes so repeat orders begin from a proven setup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Production Bridge control my laser?

No. It creates a LightBurn production package; LightBurn or your machine software remains responsible for device control.

Are the packaged settings guaranteed?

No. Every package includes a scrap-test card because output varies with the exact machine, lens, focus, stock, finish, and ventilation setup.

Which source files are supported?

The first release supports SVG files whose artwork has been converted to path elements. Original source is preserved in the ZIP.

Does it create native EZCAD files?

Not yet. Native EZCAD project output is intentionally withheld until a writer can be round-trip tested.
