Fill any shape with AI scrollwork and engraving patterns

Upload an outline — a pistol grip, knife scale, tumbler panel, pet silhouette, or logo — paint where the art should go, and The Fabricator fills exactly that region with scrollwork, filigree, or any of 204+ engraving styles. Holes and cutouts stay clean, the fill flows around existing artwork, and the output is strict black-and-white art ready for the laser.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an engrave fill generator?

A tool that takes a closed shape or outline and fills the interior with decorative engraving artwork — scrollwork, filigree, floral patterns, geometric textures — so the whole piece can be laser engraved as one design. The Fabricator does this with a paintable mask, so you control exactly which regions get filled.

Will the fill respect holes and cutouts in my shape?

Yes. Enclosed holes — trigger openings, mounting holes, letter counters — are preserved as true holes: the fill flows around them instead of burying them. You can also wrap fill around existing artwork you want to keep.

What does a fill generation cost?

The live charge for every Fabricator engine is published on the pricing page and shown before you confirm a run. Every new account starts with 12 welcome credits valid for 30 days with no card required, and failed generations refund automatically. Purchased and earned credits never expire.

Can I get a vector out of it?

Yes. Generate the fill as strict black-and-white raster art, then vectorize it to clean SVG in the same workspace — ready for LightBurn, EZCAD, or xTool Creative Space.

Production checks before export

Use the workflow on a representative sample before committing customer material. Confirm the finished dimensions, smallest line weight, layer assignments, focus, and machine parameters in the software that will run the job. A short test on matching scrap catches scale, contrast, kerf, and material-finish differences while they are still inexpensive to correct.
