• 2026-07-31 — Public Project Details and Search Discovery: Shared gallery links now open as complete, crawlable project pages with the correct title, image, description, and case-sensitive address; removed or private posts return a real not-found response. Laser-Ready catalog entries now have durable detail links, including preview, file facts, creator context, and a direct path back to the catalog. Tutorial pages now load modern responsive images with stable geometry, and the real-world Fabricator walkthrough exposes its complete step-by-step guide before the app loads. Every public Style DNA entry now has a stable section link and a one-click handoff that opens the selected style in The Fabricator.
• 2026-07-30 — Clearer Style and Gallery Details: Small style counts, descriptions, and gallery post details now meet the dark-theme readability floor instead of fading into the background.
• 2026-07-29 — Decorative Border Bands + Camo and Stipple Style DNA: Any Fabricator run can now carry a decorative border band around the part: 13 band types — rope, chain, barbed wire, laurel, oak leaf, running scroll, scalloped, plain rule, beaded, Greek key, dentil, guilloche, and chevron — in thin, medium, or bold width. A band is a setting rather than a separate style, so it composes with every style in the library. Ten more styles joined the library: seven camouflage patterns (woodland, digital, multi-terrain, tiger stripe, desert, snow, and DPM brushstroke), two stippling grades for grip texture, and spalted wood. Strictly geometric bands no longer square off a curved part. Greek key, dentil, beaded, guilloche, chevron, and plain rule now step around the true outline, the shape itself is locked against reshaping, and the picker marks which bands suit straight-edged work. Site navigation now uses a purpose-drawn Reticle Red instrument icon set in place of generic glyphs.
• 2026-07-29 — 23 New Material Surface and Western Floral Styles: Nineteen material surfaces are now available as Style DNA: marble veining, granite speckle, slate, weathered bone, polished horn, mammoth ivory, mother-of-pearl, tortoise shell, bamboo culm, alligator hide, ostrich quill, stingray shagreen, pebbled and distressed leather, brushed and hammered metal, rusted patina, wire mesh, and perforated sheet. Four regional western floral traditions were added for saddle- and holster-style tooling: Sheridan, Arizona/Porter, California/Visalia, and Texas floral. The Style DNA library now spans 180+ styles across 13 families, every one of which applies to your own outline rather than generating a stock design.
• 2026-07-28 — Style DNA Search, Subject Browsing, and Wood Grains: Style DNA search now returns one relevance-ranked list instead of category buckets, and it searches the curated description and style name properly — a search for "wood" used to return most of the library. A "Browse by subject" row sits above the style-family filters, so you can start from what you are making instead of from how it should look. Six wood and bark styles were added — living bark, rough tree bark, burl, weathered barnwood, PH Wood, and the existing wood relief regrouped alongside them under Grip & Texture. On phones the picker filter rows became single-line swipeable rails, restoring the style preview cards that two wrapped chip rows had pushed off screen.
• 2026-07-28 — Vector Stacker — Smooth Curves and AI Vector Clean-Up: Layered exports now fit true curves instead of thousands of short straight segments, so layers cut and engrave smoothly in LightBurn instead of arriving as node soup. Sharp corners stay sharp. AI Vector Clean-Up takes an uploaded raster image straight through quantization and re-vectorization for clean per-color layers, at 2 credits. A word-sign wizard builds a layered sign from typed text and then auto-details it with Style DNA cutouts and optional front crack engraving, in one pass — with the first step preserved if the second fails. Color separation now assigns every subject pixel and picks a more distinct palette, and an export narrower than 50mm asks whether you meant inches with one-click conversion.
• 2026-07-28 — Machine Pricing, Automatic Quote Sheets, and an Annual Plan: Reticle Machines pricing is now published directly on the machine pages — MOPA markers, fiber cutters, the SFW1200 welder, and the handheld dual-laser marker — with U.S. DDP or EXW terms stated on every figure. U.S. quote requests now receive the matching price sheet automatically instead of waiting on a manual reply. Operator Command is now available as an annual plan at $100 per year, a 16% discount against paying monthly.
• 2026-07-28 — Paid-Job Recovery, Honest Refund Copy, and Accessibility Pass: Paid work now survives interruption across the tools: backgrounded or late-finishing jobs restore their results, a cancelled mockup batch cannot come back to life and bill you, and recovered Fabricator runs open without paying again. Credit copy now matches what the server actually does — a failed AI job is charged and then automatically refunded, rather than "never deducting" credits — and the comparison tables no longer imply refunds for merely unsatisfactory output. Purchased marketplace patterns now show as owned with Use and Download actions instead of offering to sell them to you again, and the gallery upload modal confirms before discarding a composed post. A broad pass tokenized small text sitewide, lifted legacy low-contrast grays to the AA floor, converted raw download links to safe native paths, and fixed mobile layout regressions in Crystal and the Fabricator banner controls.
• 2026-07-28 — Coin Designer — UNBOUND Engine: UNBOUND adds a more interpretive Coin Designer mint for original medallion concepts. It uses the written brief rather than passing reference pixels through, with its price (4 credits in 2D, 7 in 3D) and behavior shown before minting.
• 2026-07-28 — Style Foundry — Mint Your Own Style DNA (Member Exclusive): Operator Command members can now mint private, catalog-grade Style DNA from 2-4 of their own reference images: the Foundry authors three candidate directions with rendered previews, you commit the one you want, and it works in every Fabricator engine, tumbler wrap, and coin design. 30 credits per mint, 5 per plain-language refinement, automatic refunds on failure.
• 2026-07-27 — Burn Card — Print-Ready LightBurn Settings: Burn Card imports a LightBurn project in the browser and turns its layer settings into a clean, printable production card. It is free, local-first, and does not upload the project.
• 2026-07-26 — Reliability, Mobile, Accessibility, and Search Improvements: Map Maker now creates topographic, bathymetric, or combined contour maps with NOAA BlueTopo coverage, global relief fallback, fixed or automatic intervals, and separate minor/index laser layers. Paid Image Lab work now survives tab changes and restores completed results without silently starting a second charge. Mobile editing, exports, Armory, community filters, and customer intake flows received a broad accessibility and recovery pass. Search metadata, partner FAQs, the sitemap, showcase images, and page titles were refreshed for clearer discovery.
• 2026-07-25 — Magic Edit Price Drop + Production Workflow Upgrades: Magic Edit now costs 2 credits, down from 4, with corrected mask handling for more dependable targeted edits. Fabricator Segment Sheet can split nested multi-panel artwork into individual pieces and return the sheet to the Arrange board for controlled production layout. Client intake now validates the uploaded reference image more clearly, quote acknowledgement links are clearer, and customer-facing email receipts are more reliable. Community galleries gained swipeable mobile media, clearer creator attribution, and direct handoffs from shared work into the relevant design tool.
• 2026-07-23 — Terms of Service Updated: Terms and credit/refund language were updated for current product policies.
• 2026-07-22 — Magic Edit, Site Helper, and Community Burns: Magic Edit launched as a sitewide image-editing workspace for changing a selected part of an uploaded image without rebuilding the whole design. A dedicated Site Helper now answers navigation and workflow questions separately from the laser-material and settings Adviser. Community Burns added an operator-focused gallery for finished physical work, with work-type filters and creator attribution. New-account welcome credits now carry a clear 30-day expiration while purchased credits remain non-expiring.
• 2026-07-21 — Map Maker Reliability + Delay Calibration: Map Maker previews and production exports were restored and hardened, with clearer desktop controls and better residential street-label coverage. Fiber Delay Tuner gained a more complete calibration workflow for directional timing, baseline tests, and LightBurn/EZCAD-oriented output. Coin Designer exports now preserve the complete artwork instead of dropping edge content.
• 2026-07-20 — Production Bridge, Client Intake, and Fair Map Previews: Production Bridge packages artwork, a named LightBurn project, scrap-test card, settings manifest, and operator README into one traceable handoff. Client Intake added a public request-to-shop workflow for collecting job details before quoting and production. Map Maker now allows five successful previews per member each UTC day; failed searches, timeouts, cancellations, and provider errors do not consume the allowance.
• 2026-07-19 — Vector Stacker Style DNA + Discovery Improvements: Vector Stacker can generate individual layers from Style DNA and move them through the existing registration-ready layer workflow. Tool help, mobile gates, keyboard-scrollable tables, metadata, prerendered route content, and internal discovery links received a broad reliability pass. Mockup Studio added more product surfaces and lets operators leave any surface unselected when they want a cleaner starting point.
• 2026-07-18 — Broken Links Fixed + Free AI Advisor for Members: A handful of dead-end links now redirect to the right page instead of a generic error — cleaner navigation sitewide. AI Design Assistant is now unlimited and included free for Operator Command members — no more per-message credit cost.
• 2026-07-17 — Referral Program: Shareable Links, QR Codes & Manual Entry: Grab a short, shareable referral code (like SCOTT-7K3) and a scannable QR code from your profile — no more copy-pasting long links. Anyone can now type in a referral code by hand at signup as a fallback to link-based referrals. You earn 15 credits when someone you refer makes their first purchase; they get 15 bonus credits just for signing up through your link.
• 2026-07-17 — Sitewide UI/UX Fix Wave: A broad pass of interface polish across mobile and desktop — cleaner layouts, clearer buttons, and steadier forms throughout the workspace. Community likes and display names now behave correctly across the Vector Showcase and Operator Gallery.
• 2026-07-15 — Access & Reliability Fix Wave: The quote portal and the Laser-Ready store now open cleanly for visitors — no more sign-in wall blocking public pages. Challenge photo uploads and session restore are sturdier — in-progress work survives interruptions far more reliably.
• 2026-07-13 — Community Fixes + Survey + Interactive Walkthrough: Community challenge submissions and heart likes work again across the Vector Showcase and Operator Gallery. Two-minute operator survey — tell us what to build next and help steer the roadmap. • 2026-07-12 — New Engine: MASTER CORE + Streamlined Ladder: MASTER CORE joins The Fabricator with per-island registration for the most faithful multi-part layouts yet. The engine ladder is streamlined to four focused tiers: SPARK · FORGE · ULTRA · MASTER — clearer power steps, less guesswork. Multi-part projects: re-arrange the board back and forth between generations, with each piece upscaled to full input resolution.
• 2026-07-11 — Sitewide UX Fix Wave: 129 audit findings resolved across mobile and desktop — layout overflows, low-contrast text, and confusing error messages cleaned up sitewide.
• 2026-07-10 — New Engine: GRAVER CORE: GRAVER CORE joins the Fabricator engine ladder (6 CR) — a precision tier with the tightest shape adherence of any engine and exceptional fine-line and bulino-style detail. Your Style DNA sample rides along as a true visual reference. The engine ladder grew to five tiers: SPARK 2 · FORGE 4 · GRAVER 6 · APEX 6 · ULTRA 8 — since streamlined to the four-engine ladder above (see July 12).
• 2026-07-10 — Fabricator Polish + Expanded Comparison Page: The Fabricator: honest cancel behavior (no credit burn on abort), clearer blend-mode chips and badges, and sturdier mask persistence across sessions. The /compare page now covers all seven alternatives side by side — LightBurn, xTool AImake, EngraveFill Pro, Outlaw Laser Studio, ImagR, VectorWitch, and MarcAM. New AI Engrave Fill Generator landing page — shape-aware scrollwork and pattern fill, with holes and cutouts preserved.
• 2026-07-09 — Fabricator Banner Tool + Hollow-Outline Fix: Banner stamp tool in The Fabricator — place scrollwork ribbons with interactive move, scale, and rotate, carved cleanly into the mask with a protected text zone. Hollow-outline masks no longer discard generated art — thin-outline projects now render the full AI artwork instead of a blank outline. Fabricator readability pass: clearer labels, better contrast, and ADVANCED mode is now the default for returning operators.
• 2026-07-08 — Map Maker 3D Stacked Layers + 5 New Style Families: Map Maker Stack mode — slice terrain into 2–6 stacked boards for 3D layered maps, with a ZIP layer pack, custom board sizes (including inches), compass picker, subtitles, and script fonts. Five new Style DNA families in The Fabricator: wedding & florals, celestial, fishing, pets & paws, and first responders. Map Maker street labels now include residential roads, not just major arteries.
• 2026-07-07 — Coin Designer Overhaul: Coin Designer iteration loop rebuilt — refine a design over multiple passes with a cleaner mobile and desktop layout. Coin pricing normalized: 2D vector mint is 6 credits, 3D bas-relief (with true 16-bit depth map) is 8 credits.
• 2026-07-06 — Map Maker Full Audit — 16 Upgrades: Map Maker overhaul: ocean and water fill, location markers with routes, street name rendering, engraving-grade single-stroke label font, and more reliable address search through a commercial geocoder. Fabricator quality tripwires — oversized or off-style generations are detected and automatically retried at no extra credit cost.
• 2026-07-04 — Multi-Part Project Mode + Tutorials Hub: Fabricator Project Mode — build multi-part projects (free accounts: 5 parts, Pro: 24) with Armory folders to organize outlines, free for everyone. Tutorials hub at /tutorials — step-by-step written guides with downloadable PDF versions.
