• 2026-08-19 — A Clearer, Safer Fabricator on Every Screen: Run Plan now shows the selected and recommended workflow, exact current credits, part-preparation progress, overlap and board-containment safety, reference count, and physical output size before FIRE. It never generates or spends credits by itself. Paid Job Center keeps each FIRE request ID, delivery or refund state, result link, and Armory recovery path on this device. An interrupted browser session is labelled uncertain instead of encouraging a potentially duplicate retry. Version History keeps up to twelve paid results for explicit side-by-side comparison, metadata review, pinning, and restore. Choosing a version for comparison never changes the canvas. Mobile Simple mode now leads with one Select Art Zone choice and a compact Quality & Finish disclosure, while machine-ready files remain first on Export. Result QA stays collapsed until requested so the completed artwork remains visible. Light mode, 320-pixel phones, the top bar, bottom navigation, calibration rail, panel transforms, onboarding, assistant placement, native disabled controls, touch cancellation, and keyboard transform guidance now share readable, reachable, 44-pixel interaction contracts.
• 2026-08-19 — Precision Fabricator Masks and Reliable Subject Isolation: For banner-free Fabricator jobs, the exact painted receiver — including every opening and cutout — is now the final zero-margin alpha boundary for downloadable artwork. The last quality check inspects that delivered artifact and catches material-length empty sections instead of judging the provider's overflow preview. Jobs with an authored banner keep the established boundary path and are clearly marked for raster-and-vector inspection. Strict ornament-only requests use the physical part as their composition boundary. Single-part Forge also sends a full 2K exact-aspect geometry guide while keeping the same 2K result, credit price, and provider-call policy. Subject Isolate now rejects and refunds empty provider cutouts before they can enter the Armory. Artwork that is already isolated, or clean black art on white, uses a safe local path with no provider call and no credit charge. Transparent black artwork is now visible on light checkerboard Armory previews. Failed outputs can be quarantined from a member's vault while remaining available to administrators for diagnosis.
• 2026-08-19 — Search Indexing and Metadata Cleanup: Legacy revision, shelving-manual, and lithophane-guide links now resolve through permanent redirects instead of leaving visitors and crawlers at stale URLs. The Parameters Library now distinguishes bundled starting baselines from community submissions that have earned independent vouches, keeping provenance clear before an operator copies a recipe. Image Lab operation tabs and the not-found page now keep stable canonical, robots, and structured-data identity as visitors move through the app.
• 2026-08-19 — Magic Edit Preserves the Source Art Style: Transparent black or white engraving artwork is now presented to Magic Edit on a contrast-safe temporary backing, preventing an otherwise crisp Fabricator design from being mistaken for an empty canvas or photorealistic material. Source Style Lock now analyzes the visible input before each edit and carries its engraving, illustration, photographic, palette, and linework treatment into the painted area. Explicit requests to change color or rendering style still take priority. Fabricator lineage remains useful for protecting part edges, holes, cutouts, and registration, but an older whole-art prompt can no longer compete with the member's current targeted edit.
• 2026-08-19 — True-Size Calibration and Fair Best-Effort Delivery: Fabricator now includes a two-point True Size ruler for flat, straight-on source images. Click two known points, enter their real center-to-center distance in millimetres or inches, and SVG, LightBurn, xTool, and EZCAD files all inherit the same physical scale. Vector Cleanup now replaces the visible canvas trace as well as the downloaded file, reports how many isolated specks it removed, and preserves the cleaned result through Recent Takes and session recovery. When an operator keeps Spark or Forge for a reference hero after Ultra is recommended, or keeps a regular engine for a multipart sheet after Multi-Panel is recommended, Fabricator now delivers the first usable paid image without an owner-funded reroll or member refund. Copilot explains the measured risks and recommends the protected workflow for the next FIRE. Provider errors, missing or corrupt images, and genuinely blank output remain refundable non-delivery failures. Recommended Ultra and Multi-Panel workflows retain their stricter quality protection.
• 2026-08-19 — Fabricator SVGs Preserve Textured Engraving Detail: Restoring a Color Mode take now restores its exact palette and rebuilds the matching layered exports. Fabricator no longer silently substitutes a one-color Vector SVG that can fuse line shading into a solid black plane. Line-shade, crosshatch, stipple, punch-dot, and spiderweb backgrounds now keep their disconnected manufacturing marks through Color SVG, LightBurn, xTool, EZCAD, and regular monochrome Vector SVG tracing. Layered SVG and machine files paint broad color planes first and fine detail last while retaining stable palette identities, protecting hatch visibility in importers with limited compound-path handling.
• 2026-08-19 — Spark Override Delivery and Exact-Detail xTool Files: When a member keeps Spark for a multipart sheet after the Forge Multi-Panel recommendation, Fabricator now delivers the first usable paid result and retains the normal charge instead of buying a quality reroll, discarding the art, and refunding the member. Missing, blank, corrupt, or otherwise undeliverable provider output still refunds. Engraving Copilot now explains when a direct multipart result could not be fully confirmed, tells the operator to inspect every panel, and offers Forge Multi-Panel for the next FIRE without replacing the delivered art or spending credits. Black-and-white xTool exports now embed the lossless Art PNG inside the physically sized SVG, preserving fine hatch, stipple, and short relief lines that the simplified vector trace could omit. The editable traced Vector SVG remains available separately under Other Files.
• 2026-08-19 — Machine Export Warnings Name the Right Software: Fabricator no longer tells xTool or EZCAD users to scale their machine file in LightBurn. Each unscaled-download warning now names the selected software and explains exactly where the physical size must be confirmed. The xTool handoff is now labelled SVG Import on desktop and mobile. It uses xTool Creative Space and xTool Studio’s supported third-party import path instead of pretending a general design is a device-bound project file. The MOPA Colour Sweep’s native .xcs project remains available as a separate F2 Ultra-specific exporter whose device and processing schema are pinned to a verified test card.
• 2026-08-19 — Engraving Copilot Turns AI Review Into Next-Step Guidance: Every completed Fabricator result now includes an Engraving Copilot preflight on Export. It combines hard geometry and registration checks with the existing AI review of Style DNA, requested content, references, anatomy clearance, and unwanted lettering. When a result is usable but could improve, Copilot can recommend a wider art zone, clearer prompt, closer or bolder Style DNA, Ultra, or the protected Multi-Panel workflow. Recommendations show the next FIRE cost before an engine change. Applying a Copilot recommendation changes only the selected setting or opens the relevant step. It never generates, spends credits, or replaces the current paid result; the normal FIRE confirmation remains the only generation-spend boundary. Preflight reports follow their exact artwork through Recent Takes and session recovery, so restoring an older result also restores the evidence and recommendations that belong to it.
• 2026-08-19 — Fabricator Handoffs for xTool and EZCAD: Every traced Fabricator result now offers an xTool Creative Space import SVG beside the native LightBurn download. Regular black-and-white art keeps its vector trace; Color Mode creates one selectable XCS object per separated color. Fabricator now packages EZCAD output as one ZIP containing a millimetre-sized layered DXF, PEN-to-color CSV, and operator README. Both black-and-white and Color Mode results are supported, and machine settings stay blank until the operator applies a tested recipe. The Export step now groups LightBurn, xTool, and EZCAD together in one always-visible Machine Files chooser on desktop and mobile. PNG, SVG, merged, raw, and editing utilities are organized separately, and a rare missing black-and-white trace is repaired free when a machine format is selected. Dense Color Mode SVG and LightBurn exports now retain short hatch marks and fine openings at up to 4096 pixels, and Color PNG downloads no longer use a browser request blocked by the production security policy. Continue in Layers now carries saved Fabricator artwork into Vector Stacker as a canvas-readable remote image, preventing signed Storage results from failing separation with zero layers. Spark, Forge, and Ultra no longer buy a second provider image or discard usable non-reference artwork because an automated reviewer second-guessed Style DNA, motif, line weight, or a free-form prompt. Those opinions are now proofing advisories; blank output, broken mask registration, missing panel coverage, forbidden lettering, and obvious source-photo or interface residue remain blocking quality failures.
• 2026-08-19 — Reliable Reference Heroes on Multi-Panel Sheets: Fabricator now recommends Forge Multi-Panel first whenever a painted sheet contains multiple disconnected panels plus numbered reference heroes. Operators can still keep the selected regular engine as an explicitly labelled one-attempt best-effort draft. Forge and Ultra Multi-Panel now return the first valid, exactly registered reference result instead of buying an automatic semantic-quality reroll. Blank outputs and deterministically missing rebuilt panels still refund; uncertain identity, motif, and line-weight opinions are delivered with a proofing warning. Contradictory or zero-confidence clearance reviews can no longer discard artwork when their own subject checklist says the heroes are complete and safely contained. The exact packed mask remains the physical-cut authority. Every fetched Fabricator provider attempt is archived before quality review, and refund messages now report the provider-image count recorded by the job instead of assuming whether a retry occurred. The reference preflight now explains that users only paint the normal red art zone; gray, black, white, and magenta guide plates seen in diagnostics are generated automatically by the server.
• 2026-08-18 — Ultra Returns Live and Magic Edit Keeps Exact Context: The public Fabricator ladder is again Spark 2 CR, Forge 4 CR, and Ultra 6 CR. MASTER CORE remains available only in the admin comparison bench after its initial acceptance result did not repeat reliably on later production panels. Ultra now carries Forge’s current multipart registration metadata, inverted-ground recovery, and single-purchase best-effort delivery policy; Forge and Ultra Multi-Panel retain deterministic atlas registration and exact-mask reassembly. Magic Edit now keeps its source, painted mask, and provider result on one explicit aspect-preserving frame before restoring protected pixels, preventing the edit from shifting between the provider preview and the on-site result. Sending Fabricator artwork—or reopening a Fabricator result from Armory—now gives Magic Edit read-only context about the original prompt, Style DNA, blend, and engine so a local change can continue the existing art language without re-running the whole composition. Completed Magic Edits now offer a protected-result and raw provider-frame comparison; downloads and Armory always keep the exact-mask protected version.
• 2026-08-18 — Bolder Master Art, Cutout-Safe Masks, and Optional High Quality: Armory line-art panels now fill the complete engravable body while keeping nested screw holes, ports, receiver windows, and other closed cutouts automatically carved; open slots remain clear as before. Master now keeps surrounding firearm scrollwork bold and open instead of drifting back to lace-like hairlines; explicitly requested fine engraving remains available, while Upland Bird Dog keeps fine bulino texture confined to wildlife modeling. Master now offers an optional High Quality setting for 2 additional credits, using MASTER CORE high output quality while keeping the same mask, placement, registration, and clipping safeguards. Spark, Forge, and Master now treat the uploaded source strictly as geometry: only the painted art zone, prompt, Style DNA, and explicitly attached references define the generated design. Master no longer applies the legacy fine-line bias to ordinary engraving jobs; it now targets the same bold scroll masses, practical contour weight, open white channels, and strong black shapes expected from Spark and Forge. Reference-led Master fires now receive server-measured placement coordinates and maximum subject envelopes, helping complete heads, tails, legs, and paws stay clear of outer cuts, slots, holes, and gutters before the exact final clip. A completed Master reference render is no longer discarded because the broad style reviewer second-guessed the dedicated physical-cut clearance check. Failure cards now also show the confirmed QC or refund reason instead of replacing it with a generic connection warning. Upland Bird Dog keeps its complete scene and engraving directives while each engine receives prompt wording tuned to its own instruction behavior. Thin surrounding scrollwork is still reported for quality tuning, but no longer discards an otherwise complete, registered result by itself. Master multipart results now keep the exact server mask as the only panel geometry: reference subjects receive extra first-fire clearance, generated keylines that bend a panel around anatomy are rejected, and returned artwork is never stretched panel-by-panel to manufacture a fit. A deploy now produces one refresh prompt even when both the service worker and an older lazy-loaded tab detect the update, while preserving the user-controlled refresh that protects in-progress canvas work.
• 2026-08-17 — Master Becomes the Hero and Reference Flagship: The public Fabricator ladder is now Spark 2 CR, Forge 4 CR, and Master 6 CR. MASTER CORE is tuned for hero Style DNA, recognizable reference subjects, complete anatomy, and coherent multi-part boards. Engine and reference guidance now recommends Master when a hero Style DNA or customer reference image needs stronger identity and count preservation, without changing the selected engine or spending credits automatically. Forge keeps the registered Multi-Panel atlas workflow, while Master handles a complete two-to-four-part board in one registered frame without requiring the Multi-Panel toggle.
• 2026-08-17 — Protected First-Fire Hero Layouts for Multi-Panel Work: Multi-panel hero fires now compose on stable protected work cells before the server restores each exact physical silhouette, keeping rigid subjects safely staged while scrollwork and scenery flow through the final trim. Multiple reference subjects begin at a shared visual scale with white headroom and a clean foot runway, and the final review rejects missing, cropped, duplicated, merged, or extra same-class heroes before saving the result. Prompts that name more reference subjects than the server received now stop before credits or provider spend, while Color Mode can no longer remain hidden and active after switching back to Spark.
